Bournemouth and Everton are reportedly ready to battle it out for highly rated Bolton youngster Rob Holding according to the Mirror.
Despite Bolton’s far from successful campaign Holding has been one of the few shining lights in a dark season for the club.
The 20-year-old has impressed enough under Neil Lennon to attract interest from Premier League clubs and when you watch his confident assured performances it is easy to see why.
Very much the modern day centre back Holding is more than happy to have the ball at his feet and play the ball out from the back which is an asset so many Premier League clubs are looking for.
Having recently won the clubs ‘Player of the Year Award 2015/16’ Bolton fans will be sad to see Holding go but if a Premier League club comes knocking it will be hard to persuade the talented young man to stay and play League One football.
Holding has made 26 Championship appearances for Bolton this season scoring one goal. Whether it will be the Englishman’s last game at the club this weekend is still to be seen.
